Sightsavers has a fantastic opportunity for a regional
Education and Social Inclusion Advisor on a 2 year fixed term contract. The
advisor will be responsible for ensuring that Sightsavers’ education and social
inclusion programmes in West Africa are successfully implemented. This will
involve building the capacity of our programme and partner staff, to deliver
quality interventions based on internationally-recognised good practice and
learning.
The successful candidate will possess extensive experience
implementing social development programmes in developing country contexts,
including significant experience in the education/social inclusion sectors.
S/he will also be familiar with international legislation and policies in the
field of disability and human rights.
This position will be 70% desk-based and 30% in the field,
involving extensive travel within the West Africa Region.
