Key Responsibilities
Futures Group is recruiting a Director of Finance and
Administration (F&A) for the USAID Community Health and Social Welfare
Systems strengthening activity. The Director of F&A will work closely with
the Chief of Party (COP) and Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP). Key
responsibilities include:
- Manage
all accounting, sub-grants and ensure financial operations are in
compliance with USAID regulations
- Ensure
adequate financial management systems are in place and functioning
- Maintain
transparent financial and reporting procedures and effective functions and
internal control systems
- Provide
concise and timely financial reports
- Ensure
compliance with HQ and donor requirements, policies and regulations
- Other
financial and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum
master of finance degree and CPA or a relevant accounting degree from a
recognized University or equivalent
- Minimum
of 10 years of experience in international development programs,
preferably with experience in Tanzania and with USAID or PEPFAR financial
management.
- Excellent
oral and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Attention
to detail and ability to effectively and efficiently perform multiple
tasks and balance competing priorities often within a required timeframe.
- Strong
interpersonal skills
- Ability
to anticipate, respond and adapt quickly to changing requirements and
competing demands.
- Experience
with USG-funded projects preferred.
- Tanzanian
nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
