DESCRIPTION
CARE is seeking a talented Assistant Country Director
- Program Support to provide leadership and direction for all Country
Office (CO) operational processes. On the admin side, s/he promotes risk
management, ensures contract compliance, and oversees IT, procurement &
inventory, logistics, legal functions and general administration. He/She will
mange and monitor the PeopleSoft (PS) cost pools in collaboration with
Assistant Country Director - Program Quality (ACD-PQ) and Program
Operation Coordinator and make recommendations. S/he ensures that all CARE
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) program support functions are implemented
efficiently and cost-effectively, providing high quality services and
information to 'clients' at different levels of CARE, and other stakeholders.
S/he fosters a values-based organizational culture, ensuring good internal
controls and conscientious stewardship of an annual budget of $26 million.

Required Skills:

qualification
- A
minimum 5 years in a senior management position in Africa

least 3 years’ practical experience in leading/managing Program Support
