SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in DR Congo seeks
to recruit the following staff for an upcoming project:
Agri-Business Expert
Based in Matadi, DR Congo
International contract
SNV is a not-for-profit international development
organization. Founded in the Netherlands nearly 50 years ago, we have built a
long-term, local presence in 38 of the poorest countries in Asia, Africa and
Latin America. Our global team of local and international advisors work with
local partners to equip communities, businesses and organizations with the
tools, knowledge and connections they need to increase their incomes and gain
access to basic services – empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and guide
their own development
Background
SNV has worked in DR Congo since 2006 and currently operates
in the 4 main regions of DRC. These are the provinces Kinshasa, Bas Congo,
Bandundu and Equateur.
In alignment with our Corporate Strategy, SNV works together
with local partners to provide technical expertise in three sectors: WASH,
Renewable Energy and Agriculture, thereby contributing to finding local
solutions to global challenges and sowing the seeds of lasting change.
Project Summary
Objective of the Growth Pole Project is to promote the
development of the Matadi-Kinshasa-Kikwit corridor through increased private
