PROJECT BACKGROUND
The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM) is

Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). SCMS strengthens or establishes
secure, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable supply chains capable of
meeting the care and treatment needs of people living with and affected by HIV
and AIDS. In coordination with in-country and international partners, SCMS
assists programs to enhance their supply-chain capacity; ensuring that accurate
supply-chain information is collected, shared, and used; and provides quality,
affordable, health care products to those who need them. SCMS offers services
in focus countries identified by PEPFAR, with SCMS field offices established in
countries as required by the scope of work in that country. Since 2005, SCMS
has provided technical assistance in Cote d’Ivoire (CI). Their on-the-ground experience

consistent availability of HIV commodities at PEPFAR supported services
throughout the country. Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a subcontractor
on SCMS responsible for field office operations in CI.
