Description
We are looking for: A WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE PROGRAM MANAGER

Country: ETHIOPIA – Kebri Dehar

Length of Contract: 3 months (possibly renewable until 6) as soon as possible

General objective: To manage the ACF and EU funded WASH component of an integrated programme in Korahe zone of Somali region of Ethiopia and contribute to the definition of a new wash strategy in the area.
 If required, you’ll also have to manage WASH emergency response.
You’ll have to support the WASH Head of department and collaborate with consultants working in Kebri Dehar.

Responsibilities:

-Finalize the implementation of A3C activities and draft final report
- Implement activities of ACF WaSH study proposal
- Develop draft concept note for future funding

Qualification and previous experience: Master degree (needed for work permit request) with experience in program and team management (10 staff) and in WASH project design preferably in pastoralist or semi-pastoralist WASH problematic. An experience in development/resilience building project is also required.

Status:
Volunteer or salary status according to professional experience :
Total average yearly gross income : from 42245€ to 47120€
  • Fixed-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French legislation.
  • All expenses paid on the field average per month:
    • Support to the R & R costs : 110€
    • Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€
    • Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€
    • Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 276€
    • Per Diem : 163€
  • Gross monthly salary ranging from €1600 to €1975 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experience
  • Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution
  • 25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of extra leaves per year
  • Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris
