Background:
The mission of Global Communities (formerly CHF
International) is to create long-lasting, positive and community-led change
that improves the lives and livelihoods of vulnerable people across the globe.
Global Communities seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager with
experience evaluating emergency programs and providing high level data tracking
to contribute to its Ebola response program. The M&E Manager will be
based in Monrovia, Liberia and report to the Country Director.
Responsibilities:
- Work
with the program team to collect data on the project’s inputs, outputs and
indicators.
- Assist
in the design and implementation of relevant monitoring forms and
processes.
- Help
develop standard evaluation tools.
- Provide
monthly and quarterly updates on progress against approved program
indicators.
- Support
the development of donor-compliant branding and marking materials.
- Supervise
systems to maintain beneficiary and program records in a functional,
tracking database.
- Maintain
and gather project statistics regarding number and beneficiary profiles,
type and quantity of assistance provided, etc.
- Coordinate
with other GC staff to provide timely inputs for weekly and quarterly
progress reports and any other required reports, including success
stories.
Qualifications and experience:
- A
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- A
Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proficient
in USAID regulations, prior exp working on USAID funded programs.
- Minimum
8 years of relevant experience,
at least 3 of which are specifically focused on Monitoring and Evaluation. - Experience
carrying out M&E tasks, including extensive GIS survey work is
preferred
- Prior
experience working with USAID/OFDA indicators, preferred.
- Experience
carrying out M&E tasks, including survey work.
- Experience
designing M&E systems, indicators and monitoring plans.
- Experience
working with local national staff and building local capacity.
- Excellent
command of excel and other database applications.
Fluency in English.
