AWARD MANAGER

Contract length: 6 Months
LOCATION: Bangui with regular deployments to Field offices

The role
The Reset Award Manager will support in the closeout and reporting for closed awards and the resolution of historical backlog issues; additionally, s/he will provide capacity building support at field and coordination levels contributing to the roll-out and strengthening of the award management policies, procedures, tools and AMS.



Qualifications and experience
Essential
  • Relevant post-secondary qualifications
  • Prior NGO experience within a complex country programme in emergency response/humanitarian environments
  • Proven track-record in an NGO in an Awards/Grant Management function
  • Excellent skills in handling and advising on complex people management issues
  • Excellent skills in working with people under pressure with diverse cultural background
  • Experience of and well developed skills in recruitment and selection
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good facilitation skills and ability to deliver induction briefing/training/coaching
  • Strong capacity building background
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, with experience in managing multicultural teams
  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
Desirable
  • Previous experience with SCI, knowledge of Policies, processes and procedures of Awards management
  • Familiarity with AMS and Agresso
  • Knowledge of the Central Africa Republic Humanitarian and Development context
  • Experience in change management processes in NGOs
