DFID Zambia is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated
Economic Adviser to play a leading role in delivering the Zambia country
programme.
You will advise DFID Zambia on economic developments, and
ensure that sound economic analysis informs all DFID Zambia policies, to
maximise the value for money of DFID’s programmes. You will be responsible for
providing economic advice to the design and delivery of programmes across our
portfolio. This will include interventions in health, education and governance
sectors. There are also opportunities for leading DFID’s thinking and strategy
in a range of other areas. Depending on skills and experience of the individual
this may include leading on climate change; private sector social delivery, or;
the extractives sector.
