DESCRIPTION
CARE USA is looking for a Program Nutrition Manager who is responsible for the management of the nutrition program ‘Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition’ (IMAM) projects in Unity State in South Sudan in collaboration with partners. The position holder will supervise nutrition interventions: provide specialized inputs into planning and implementation of nutrition interventions in the field; provide training to nutrition staff thereby enabling them to implement nutrition interventions within quality parameters. These interventions are meant to contribute to South Sudan Ministry of Health effort in reducing malnutrition among children and providing strategic support in designing the country Child Survival Plan for a more robust action in the future.  Responsibilities and Tasks: Support CARE South Sudan Programming Initiatives Project implementation Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Leaning (MEAL) Representation, liaison and coordination Managing Resources Proposal development Supporting Project Administration People management and development Qualifications (Know-How): Post Graduate level qualification in Nutrition or its equivalent and a minimum of two years’ work experience in Health and Nutrition Bachelors’ Degree in Nutrition or its equivalent Minimum of 4 years work experience in Health and Nutrition Operational experience and track record of success at national level in community and field level
